<p>PURPOSE:To enable the installation of a large-sized reel in a narrow compartment or the like and prevent the abrasion or damage of a rope guide section by the rope slippage, in a reel applied to the winding of a rope, a wire rope, a cable, etc., in a ship having many narrow compartments, or other structures, or the like. CONSTITUTION:Belt drive drums 1 and sprockets 4 are fixed to shafts 8 juxtaposed at an interval, and a winding conveyor 2 is laid between the belt driving drums 1, and a roller chain 3 is laid between the sprockets 4. The winding conveyor 2 and the roller chain 3 are attached integrally. Guide plates in the shape of elliptic flanges are disposed opposingly on both sides of the winding conveyor 2, and for the guide plate, cylindrical rollers, to the longitudinal straight part, and conical rollers, to the circular part, are supported respectively in plural numbers and in parallel manners. For a winding rope, its one end is fixed to a winding conveyor 2, and a handle 11 is rotated normally or reversely, whereby the winding conveyor 2 is rotated for winding or delivering the rope.</p> |
