Device for securing submunitions loaded inside a container

The system consists of front (3a), rear (3b) and intermediate (3c) straps to hold the weapons in place until the container is launched from its tube. After launching the sub-munitions (2) are separated from the container by means of inflatable pyrotechnic bags (9) situated between the sub-munitions and the container surfaces. The front and rear straps are separated by means of pyrotechnic shears which cut their retaining screws, while the intermediate straps are burst by pressure along pre-cut lines (8).
