PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently separate the large amt. of a mixture with a simple operation in a stable state by utilizing the difference in distribution by liq. chromatography. SOLUTION: This multistage liq.-solid extractor is provided with plural vessels 3 capable of housing a liq. and a solid for performing liq.-solid extraction, a liq. inlet 1 and a liq. outlet 2 furnished to each of the vessels, a pipeline 4 for transporting the liq. from the liq. outlet of the preceding vessel to the liq. inlet of the succeeding vessel and a means (filter 5) for preventing the outflow of the solid provided at the liq. outlet and further, provided with an agitating means for rotating or swinging the vessels 3 and moving the solid in the vessels in the liq. by the specific gravity difference between the solid and the liq.
