PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate defrosting operation at a low temperature and to enhance heating performance in an air conditioner for a vehicle using a coolant such as carbon dioxide or the like. SOLUTION: In a heating mode, a controller 16 introduces air from a radiator 14 to an outdoor heat exchanger 3 by reversely rotating a cooling fan 15 and feeds warm air passing through the radiator 14 to the outdoor heat exchanger 3.
