A tree protector which is protrusively formed on the ground around a tree trunk is provided, which has a separate space different from the space in which the street tree is planted to plant various plants therein, prevents damage of the street tree and enables plants to climb very successfully on the fence thus to prevent dust from being scattered. A tree protector(100) is protrusively formed on the ground around a tree trunk and includes: a plurality of through-holes(104) on the upper surface(102); a gentle outer surface(110); a hollow part(114) to put soil or nutrients necessary for planting plants into the internal surface; one or more receiving holes on the lower surface. A moisture absorbing part(200) with a moisture-absorbing wick inside a steel pipe with a diameter of 1 to 5cm is embedded in the ground through the receiving holes. The tree protector also contains a fence(300) which is radially positioned on the tree protector and fixed to the through-holes at regular intervals to support the growing plant via the through-holes.
