WAKE UP RECEIVER AND METHOD USING SPREADED CODES

A wake up receiver and a wake up method using spreaded codes are provided to enhance the accuracy of the determination of wake up by distributing digital data using a distribution code. A wake up receiver includes an analog-digital converter(110), a synchronization detector(11), a reverse distributor(12), and a wake up code detector(13). The analog-digital converter converts analog signals from an antenna into digital signals and outputs digital data bit strings. The synchronization detector detects synchronization from the digital data bit strings and outputs chip data with data bits. The reverse distributor converts the chip data into one bit digital data by calculating the chip data and a reverse distribution code, and outputs the converted data. The wake up code detector compares the digital data from the reverse distributor with a wake up code and outputs a signal used for wake up a main receiver based on the comparison result.
