The present invention relates to a white light emitting element using a carbon quantum dot and, more specifically, to a white light emitting element capable of reducing the fatigue of eyes by reducing blue light. To this end, the white light emitting element includes: a light emitting element module in which a blue light emitting element is placed in the bottom of an inner space; a first layer placed in the upper part of the light emitting element module to have a predetermined distance away from the blue light emitting element, and containing the carbon quantum dot; and a fluorescent layer placed on the upper part of the first layer, and made of a fluorescent material which emits white light by receiving the light emitted from the first layer. |
