The invention relates to a method for testing the adherence of elastic adhesives or elastic sealing materials on surfaces of components, comprising the following steps: a) the adhesive (5) or the sealing material is applied to a component surface (3) of a component, b) it is attempted, optionally after the curing of the adhesive (5) or sealing material, to detach the applied adhesive (5) or the applied sealing material from the component surface (3) by exerting a peeling force (F), and c) the adherence of the adhesive (5) or the sealing material is assessed on the basis of on the one hand ruptures in the adhesive (5) or the sealing material that are brought about by the exertion of the peeling force (F) and on the other hand detachment of the adhesive (5) or the sealing material from the component surface (3) brought about by the exertion of the peeling force (F). Before and/or during step a), an anti-adhesive material layer (4) is applied to at least a first partial region (3b) of the component surface (3), having the effect that the adhesive (5) or the sealing material adheres more poorly to the component surface (3), and therefore can be detached from the component surface (3) with a lower peeling force (F) than directly from the component surface (3). The adhesive (5) or the sealing material is applied in step a) as a continuous region of material both to the at least one first partial region (3b) of the component surface (3) to which the anti-adhesive material layer (4) is applied and/or has been applied, and directly to at least one second partial region (3a) of the component surface (3). |
