PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of allowing a user to use a desired printer through a simple operation even when an application for using the printer selected by the user has not been installed.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus in which a print application can be installed, is configured to search for a printer by use of the installed print application, to select one of a plurality of searched printers, as specified by a user. The information processing apparatus determines whether the print application used for searching is suitable for the selected printer or not, and determines whether another print application suitable for the selected printer has been installed or not when a determination is made that the print application is not suitable for the selected printer, and installs the other print application in the information processing apparatus when a determination is made that the other print application has not been installed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
