<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a paste type positive electrode plate having long life and high utilization factor of an active material. <P>SOLUTION: A pasty active material for a positive electrode is manufactured by kneading lead powder mainly comprising lead monoxide, cut fibers, monobasic lead sulfate, dilute sulfuric acid, and red lead. The pasty active material is applied to a lead alloy current collector, primarily left to stand in an atmosphere of 75-85°C and 95-98 RH for 4-8 hours and then secondarily left to stand in an atmosphere of 50-65°C and 50% RH or higher for at least 20 hours for aging and drying to manufacture the paste type positive electrode plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
