PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter and an air filter packaging member in which packaging material is not broken when a packaging operation or a transporting operation is carried out and a performance of the air filter is not decreased even during its storage. SOLUTION: An air filter is packaged by a packaging material having a piercing strength of at least 1 kg and an oxygen transmission factor of 1,000 cc/m2/24 hr or less.
