<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to select a desired object properly and easily according to a game situation in the case of selection and a grasping degree of a user with respect to an object to be selected in the game. <P>SOLUTION: When operation at a controller is carried out in the upper part of a cross key, a cursor is moved to an upper object name in a list (S403), and an icon is moved to a corresponding object displayed in an object display area (S405). When the operation is carried out in the lower part of the cross key, the cursor is moved to a lower object name in the list (S407), and the icon is moved to the corresponding object displayed in the object display area (S409). When an input key is in the right part of the cross key, the icon is moved to an object on the right side in the object display area (S410), and the cursor is moved to a corresponding name in the list (S411).
