HIGH-CONCENTRATION SLURRY CONTAINING BIOMASS, METHOD FOR PREPARING HIGH-CONCENTRATION SLURRY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BIOMASS FUEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing fuel gas and solid fuel from a biomass with high efficiency and low energy consumption. SOLUTION: In the method for preparing high-concentration slurry, low-concentration slurry is prepared by suspending the woody biomass in high pressure water heated to 100-250°C and the biomass concentration of the low-concentration slurry is made higher by furthermore adding the woody biomass to the low-concentration slurry. This method for manufacturing fuel gas or solid fuel comprises a reformation step to heat the high-concentration slurry to 150-350°C under pressure to reform the woody biomass, a separation step to separate the high-concentration slurry treated at the reformation step into a water-soluble component and a water-insoluble component and a gasification step to gasify the water-soluble component or a dehydration step to dehydrate the water-insoluble component.
