PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a glass substrate having a wheel cutter with a caster angle by which the glass substrate can be accurately cut to not only a straight-line shape but also various kinds of non-regular shapes including curved lines. SOLUTION: The cutting device for the glass substrate, where the glass substrate to be cut is set at a specified height position on a work table almost horizontally supported, is equipped with a moving table 21 movable to an X-Y direction in a flat surface in parallel with the glass substrate to be cut, a cutter holder 23 supported to be rotatable via a rotating pivot 22 having a vertical rotating axis line P on the moving table 21, the wheel cutter 25 to form scribe grooves on the glass substrate being set at the cutter holder 23 and a caster angle adjusting means (a lever 24 and an actuator 26) to vary the caster angle of the wheel cutter 25.
