摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding wire capable of consistently melting a sliding contact to be formed between a power supply chip and a wire surface during the welding, and preventing any accidental solidification at the sliding contact during the continuous welding, and having excellent wire feedability and arc stability, and excellent welding workability with less spatter and fume. SOLUTION: When the carbon dioxide gas-shielded welding is performed under the condition that the average current is 150-170 A, the power supply length of a power supply chip is 2-4 mm, the distance between the power supply chip and a base material is 20-24 mm, and the diameter of a free loop is 700-800 mm, the probability that the voltage drop between the power supply chip and a welding wire during the welding in a current area of 140-180 A exceeds 0.41 V is≥80%. A copper-plating layer of 0.05-0.35 mass% and one or two or more of greases selected from a group consisting of vegetable, animal, mineral and synthetic oils are deposited on the wire surface by 0.25-1.5 g per 10 kg of the wire.
