PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a transmission component provided with an internal gear having larger rotation-symmetry and higher accuracy. SOLUTION: The method is for manufacturing an internal profile by use of a mandrel working on the inner surface of a cup-like/annular rotation-symmetric product. In the method, a workpiece 1, whose outside is prepared or prefabricated so as to have a fitting tolerance, is inserted into a matrix 6 and pressed, in cold-working, against the inner wall of the matrix 6 by a mandrel 3, which is driven to rotate, in a state of frictional-fitting and receiving torsion strength. Further, the workpiece 1 is ejected by an axial direction piston 7 after completion of roll forming of its profiling part. On the other hand, the mandrel 3 is provided with an outside profiling part, supported freely movably, and sent in an axial direction and a radial direction in roll forming.
