PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share structure components in different types of wiper motors. SOLUTION: In a wiper motor 12 of a narrow angle type, a bending portion 40A is formed on a coupling rod 40, and to a first end portion of the coupling rod 40, a second end portion is displaced in an axial direction of the output shaft 18. Therefore, for example, like as a wiper motor of a wide angle type, between the wiper motors having a position where a sector rod (the coupling rod 40 in the narrow type) meshes with gears of an input disc (corresponding to a rotating lever 88 in the narrow angle type) made to be same with a position where the coupling rod 40 is coupled to the rotating lever 88 in the narrow type in the axial direction of the output shaft, same components can be used without changing the length of the output shaft 18, an axial direction position of a worm wheel 36, and a shape of the housing 26 rotatably supporting the worm wheel 36.
