PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool attaching structure in which a handle of a cleaning tool can be attached to a front end of a separately prepared long shaft by a single action and an angle for attaching the tool to the shaft can be adjusted as well. SOLUTION: The cleaning tool attaching structure is provided with a connection support part 3 on one end of the shaft 2 in a longitudinal direction and a handle connecting member 5 swingingly supported on the support part 3. The connecting member 5 is provided with a handle connecting part composed of a connective cylindrical part in which the handle can be inserted and a pair of facing pieces bridged between the cylindrical part and a connection body. An engaging projection engageable with a catch hole provided on the handle is provided inside the facing piece. A deformation preventing cylinder for preventing the facing pieces from elastically deforming themselves outside is provided on the outer periphery of the handle connecting part so that the preventing cylinder is slidable between a position where the cylinder is on the outer peripheries of the facing pieces and a position where it is away from the outer peripheries. A lock mechanism 6 is provided on the outer periphery for locking the swinging member at a specified tilting angle to the connection support part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
