PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope system that allows more universal information to more accurately manage an observation position.SOLUTION: A microscope system comprises: a microscope main body; an image sensor that is mounted to the microscope main body via a mount part and picks up an observation image under the microscope; a stage that moves in mutually orthogonal X-axis direction and Y-axis direction, loads a slide of the observation object and has a mark indicative of a stage reference position; acquisition means that acquires positions of the stage in the X-axis direction and Y-axis direction; detection means that detects the stage reference position indicated by the mark provided in the stage and a slide reference position indicated by a mark provided in the slide loaded on the stage from an image picked up by the image sensor; and management means that, when the slide reference position can be detected, manages a position of the stage to be acquired with a coordinate using the slide reference position as a reference, and when the slide reference position cannot be detected, manages the position of the stage with the coordinate using the stage reference position as a reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16 |
