An economizer for a gas stove comprises a thermal insulation ring (10) provided with an opening at the bottom. A flame concentration layer (20) is disposed on an inner surface of the thermal insulation ring (10). A flame isolation region (30) is disposed between the flame concentration layer (20) and the inner surface of the thermal insulation ring (10). A hot air flow channel (40) that extends a hot air flow rise path, increases an area of contact between a hot air flow and the cookware, reduces a flame rise speed, and rises spirally surrounding the cookware is disposed between the flame concentration layer (20) and an outer surface of cookware. The flame isolation region (30) is closed at a bottom (31) and is open at a top. The hot air flow channel (40) of the flame concentration layer (20) is open at both a bottom and a top. The economizer prevents direct contact between a hot air flow and the thermal insulation ring (10) and improves cooking efficiency.
