Provided are an uplink bandwidth allocation method, device and system. The method comprises: acquiring, by a cable modem termination system (CMTS), a service stream attribute of each online cable modem (CM), the service stream attribute comprising a time delay sensitive service and a time delay insensitive service; allocating, by the CMTS according to a preset total bandwidth and a received service request, an uplink bandwidth to an online CM, and acquiring a remaining bandwidth after allocating the bandwidth according to the service request; allocating, by the CMTS, at least a part of the remaining bandwidth to each CM having a service stream attribute as the time delay sensitive service, and notifying each online CM of an uplink bandwidth allocation result so as to enable each online CM to transmit uplink data according to the allocated bandwidth. The present invention actively allocates the remaining bandwidth after bandwidth allocation to the CM having a time delay sensitive service, thus improving an uplink throughput of a part of CMs and reducing an uplink transmission time delay. |
