<p>PURPOSE: To improve equal distributivity of control gas such as intake gas and EGR gas with a simplified composition. CONSTITUTION: Surge tanks 12 are arranged by unevenly distributing them on the upper stream of intake gas and the connections 11a of intake gas manifolds 11 which are to be connected to the surge tanks 12 are formed so that they may come closer to the engine body 10 in proportion to their approach from the upper stream side to the lower stream side. The passage cross section of the surge tanks 12 are formed so that they may become smaller towards the lower stream of the intake gas. A spit hole 16 for control gas such as EGR gas is opened on the upper stream side of the intake gas inside the surge tanks 12.</p> |
