PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automobile navigation system for reliably preventing the infringement of privacy to the private information of each user with a simple configuration, wherein private information including, for example, a behavior history peculiar to each user is known to other users. SOLUTION: Since each kind of information including a drive log, such as destinations, routes, drive distances, and drive directions, is stored in a second storage means 7 in a secrete mode, a storage mode is set to the secret mode and the automobile navigation system is used when each kind of information peculiar to the user when utilizing the automobile navigation system should not be known to other users, and the second storage means 7 is removed from the automobile navigation system body and the user possesses and manages it after using the automobile navigation system.
