PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defects in swing motion and swing return motion of a bucket in a centrifugal separator having a swing-type bucket. SOLUTION: The centrifuge is characterized in that the bucket 6 accommodating a container 5 in which specimen is contained, a rotor 1 provided with a pin 3 that oscillatably supports the bucket 6, and a sleeve member 2 of length that can be inserted between the end 1d of a rotor body 1a and the end 6a of the bucket 6 are provided on both sides of the bucket 6.
