<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panelboard for direct current circuits with a commutation type DC breaker, capable of standardizing design of DC breaker storage box, and reducing labor and time required for manufacturing a panelboard for DC circuits suitable to various and versatile applications and specifications. <P>SOLUTION: The panelboard for DC circuits having commutation-type DC breaker includes a DC breaker storage box having as a standard structure a main circuit with a master switch, and a commutation-type DC breaker with a commutation circuit having a commutating capacitor and a commutation switch electrically connected in parallel to the master switch; a front-face accommodating box in front of the DC breaker accommodating box with apparatuses for controlling the panelboard and displaying its condition/failure; and a back-face accommodating box at the rear of the DC breaker accommodating box with the apparatuses for monitoring and maintaining the main circuit. These front-face and back-face accommodating boxes are respectively connected to the DC breaker accommodating box to integrate the constitution of the panelboard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
