PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigidity measurement method capable of measuring a physical value regarding the rigidity of a specific region of a side wall part.SOLUTION: A rigidity measurement method of a side wall part of a tire includes: a process S1 of defining at least two marks on arbitrary radiation rays on the external surface of a side wall of the tire and determining a measurement object region in a tire radial direction sandwiched by the marks; a loading process S2 of deflecting the measurement object region by causing the tire to contact the ground in a state that the radiation rays are vertical to the ground and causing the burden to be applied when viewing the side wall part from the front face; a distance detection process S3 of detecting a distance in the tire radial direction of the measurement object region deflected by the loading process S2; and a calculation process S4 of calculating a physical value regarding the rigidity of the measurement object region on the basis of the burden and the distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
