The invention relates to a hub carrier (7) for an axle of a vehicle, in particular of a utility vehicle, having a continuous coaxial opening (8) which is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the axle, in a determined rotational position oriented in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the coaxial opening (8). An output shaft (4), which can be rotatably driven at one end thereof about an axis of rotation (5) by a driven gear (3), is guided through the coaxial opening (8) and securely connected to a wheel hub (10) at the other end.
