PURPOSE:To well record an image different in density without bringing about a change in size or the deterioration of image quality. CONSTITUTION:A first LED group DA wherein (m) LEDs DA-1 to DA-m are unidimensionally arranged at an equal interval over recording width and a second LED group DB wherein (n) LEDs DB-1 to DB-n are unidimensionally arranged at an equal interval over recording width are formed. The cathodes of the LEDs DA-1 to DA-m of the first LED group DA and the cathodes of the LEDs DB-1 to DB-n of the second LED group DB are alternatively earthed by a selection switch 14 through common electrodes 21, 22 to alternatively set the first LED group DA and the second LED group DB to a drivable state. The selection switch is changed over on the basis of the pixel density of an image to be recorded by a control part 3. |
