<p>PURPOSE: To reduce size and weight of a player, to increase operating speed and to curtail electric consumption by using a solenoid for the purpose of controlling a locking condition and thereby decreasing the number of components. CONSTITUTION: A locking pin 4 provided on one side of a cartridge holder 2 is brought into locking state with a locking piece 6 of a sliding plate 5 which is provided linearly movably in a player body 1, with a solenoid 8 energized by a power source in the unopened state of the holder 2, so that the solenoid 8 is actuated, pulling the sliding plate 5 and then releasing it. Consequently, the sliding plate 5, while contracting a spring 9, is linearly moved by a guide pin 7 and a guide slot 5a, with the pin 4 separated from the locking piece 6, and with the holder 2 rotated upward around a hinge by the elasticity of a torsion spring 3 and opened. Then, with the holder 2 pushed downward after a disk cartridge 10 is inserted into it, locking is made by the locking piece 6.</p> |
