ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION CERAMICS HEATING ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To prevent the exfoliation of an electromagnetic induction heating element by providing a thermal expansion buffer layer composed of a sintered body between a heating layer and base material. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of iron fine powder and easily-crystallized glass powder as a binder is first dry-mixed to be added by ethanol to be made into slurry, and the slurry is applied at uniform thickness by screen printing onto the surface of alumina/cordierite ceramics (porcelain can be used) base material 1. Then the slurry is baked in the temperature range of 900-1270 deg.C in a hydrogen or nitrogen atmosphere to form a metallic layer (heating element layer) 2. This heating element is used for a device for generating a high-frequency magnetic field at a preferable degree of 20-50kHz.
