PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, a method, and a program for displaying images for vehicles capable of preventing drivers from feeling a sense of incongruity by controlling the display of information on facilities in such a way as not to confuse the drivers in the case that external environment conditions have changed when images on the facilities are superimposed on an actual scenery and displayed. SOLUTION: External environment conditions of a vehicle 10b are judged by an external environment condition judging device 21. In the cast that the external environment is judged to be dark, a display mode of facility-related images is changed to display them on an image display 22. At this time, the facility-related images are displayed in such a way that they may be superimposed and seen on an actual scenery visually recognizable through a windshield from a driver of the vehicle 10b.
