The method involves determining a position of a terminal (E3) e.g. mobile telephone and/or hearing device, in a motor vehicle by a hands-free equipment (2). Directional loudspeakers (L1-L4) e.g. electrostatic flat surface loudspeakers, and directional microphones (M1-M4) e.g. electrostatic flat surface microphones, are attached to the terminal and are aligned on the determined position. Multiple seats (S1-S4) in the vehicle are attached to the directional loudspeakers and the directional microphones. An independent claim is also included for a device for communication of data in a motor vehicle.
