<p>A filtration device (10) has a filtration tank (11), a filtration material unit (12), and a magnet (19). The filtration material unit (12) includes a filtration material receiving case (30) and a large number of magnetic particle filtration materials (31). The magnet (19) moves between a first position and a second position. At the first position, the magnetic field acts on the magnetic particle filtration materials (31) to cause them to magnetically attract each other. At the second position, the magnetic attraction between the magnetic particle filtration materials (31) is cancelled. The filtration material receiving case (30) includes non-magnetic mesh members (35, 36) made from a non-magnetic material and also includes a magnetic force intensifying plate (40) made from a magnetic material. When the magnet (19) is at the first position, magnetic particle filtration materials (31) and the non-magnetic mesh members (35, 36) are located between the magnetic force intensifying plate (40) and the magnet (19).</p> |
