PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility that sudden braking is caused by a governor in the event of a failure of a control device for performing an open operation of a brake.SOLUTION: An elevator includes an elevator controller for controlling the operation of the elevator, a safety controller independent of the elevator controller, an electric motor for driving an elevator car, and a brake for suppressing the drive of the elevator car. The elevator controller issues a rescue operation start command to the safety controller, and outputs a brake operation command to the brake. The safety controller includes an overspeed determination processing part for operating the brake independently of a rescue operation control part when an overspeed of the car is detected. The overspeed determination processing part changes a threshold to be detected as the overspeed of the car according to whether or not the rescue operation start command is received from the rescue operation control part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
