Provided is an elevator cage lighting device, wherein a lighting cover has: a main cover; a first auxiliary cover facing a first cage wall; and a second auxiliary cover facing a second cage wall. The dimensions of the first and second auxiliary covers in the longitudinal direction of the lighting cover are respectively smaller than the dimension of the main cover in the longitudinal direction of the lighting cover. The first auxiliary cover, by loosening a first auxiliary cover fastener, can slide in the longitudinal direction with respect to a lighting cover attachment member between a position abutting the main cover and a position in contact with the first cage wall.
