PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating/lowering mechanism capable of elevating and lowering an object in a vertical direction at least between two stories.SOLUTION: Instead of a conventional elevating/lowering device, the elevating/lowering mechanism includes: a pallet having a pallet main structure and at least two pallet fitting target parts; a conveyance unit having a conveyance unit main structure and a pallet transfer mechanism; a lift mechanism having a lift main structure and at least two pallet fitting parts which are fixed to the lift main structure and are fitting parts that can be fitted to the pallet fitting target parts; and a vertical movement mechanism for moving the lift mechanism in the vertical direction. When the lift mechanism is elevated and lowered between two stories, the pallet fitting part is fitted to the pallet fitting target part, and when the lift mechanism is stopped corresponding to one story, the pallet fitting part is detached from the pallet fitting target part, and the pallet transfer mechanism can move and transfer the pallet in the horizontal direction between a storage space and the conveyance unit main structure. |
