A Wet laid web of cellulose fiber is disclosed that is treated with a fiber treatment composition including a polysaccharide, wherein the polysaccharide is introduced into the web using a fiber treatment composition and a process that produces a wet laid web that exhibits desirable tackiness properties between adjacent sheets and within the web. Airlaid webs produces from the wet laid web are useful in absorbent articles such as diapers, feminine hygiene products and wipes. |
