PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform abnormality determination of a CO sensor 2 even when combustion is not started nor stopped in a combustion device 1 which measures, by use of the CO sensor 2, CO concentration generated by combustion.SOLUTION: A combustion device 1 capable of adjusting a combustion amount high or low stepwise includes a CO sensor 2 for detecting CO concentration in combustion gas, and detects abnormality of the device on the basis of the CO concentration measured at the CO sensor 2. When the value of CO concentration measured by the CO sensor 2 at the time of changing the combustion amount is not higher than a preset low value, the CO sensor is determined to be abnormal. When the value of CO concentration measured by the CO sensor 2 is higher than a preset high value, combustion device is determined to be abnormal. |
