<p>PURPOSE:To unlock a vehicle from its outside by means of a portable transmitter only when no driver exists in the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:An outside-vehicle switch 53b and a key sensor 53a are connected to a microcomputer 75 in an on-vehicle control unit 70, and the lock flag 77a of a memory 77 is set or reset when a door 15 is locked or unlocked based on their signals. Additionally, since the lock flag 77a is usually reset when a driver is in the vehicle, even if a third person outside the vehicle pushes the outside-vehicle switch 53b, an on-vehicle transceiver 80 is not communicated with a portable transceiver 90 so as to prohibit unlocking of the door 15.</p> |
