<p>PURPOSE:To judge abnormality appropriately by excluding the case of rear wheels becoming temporarily hard to steer from abnormality judgment in a rear wheel steering system for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel steering system for driving and controlling steering mechanism SW, connected to a rear wheel W, by an electric motor M is provided with a magnetic pole detecting means S1 for detecting a magnetic pole changed according to the rotation of the electric motor M so as to output a magnetic pole signal, a steering control means S2 for driving and controlling the electric motor M according to the magnetic pole signal, a motor current detecting means S3 for detecting a motor current supplied to the electric motor M, a vehicle speed detecting means S4 for detecting the speed of a vehicle, and an abnormality judging means S5 for judging the magnetic pole detecting means S1 to be abnormal when the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detecting means S4 is judged to be the specified value or more, the motor current is judged to be the specified value or more and the magnetic pole signal is judged to be unchanged for the specified time.</p> |
