<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target polymer refining method for efficiently extracting and refining a target polymer in a cell, a detecting method for the target polymer refined by the refining method, a polymer refining kit used for the refining method and a polymer detecting kit used for the detecting method. <P>SOLUTION: The target polymer refining method which is a method for refining the target polymer in the cell, is characterized by using a magnetic particle bonding with a receptor with which the target polymer is specifically bound, and a cell lysis promoting particle. The target polymer refining method, which is a method for refining the target polymer in the cell, is characterized by adding a cell solution, the cell lysis promoting particle and the magnetic particle bonding with the receptor with which the target polymer is specifically bound, to a sample containing the cell, and stirring them.
