PURPOSE:To easily inspect even a deformed part of a piping by an inspection probe for inspecting the piping of a steam generator, a heat exchanger, etc., in a nondestructive manner. CONSTITUTION:A probe head 3 is inserted in a piping 101. The probe head 3 has a through hole 20 is opened leaving both sides. A pair of probe holders 2 each having a built-in probe 1 are meshed with a projecting part 17 of the probe head 3. The pair of probe holder 2a, 2b are uniformly pressed towards an inner wall surface of the piping 101 by a compression coil spring 4, and therefore, the probes 1a, 1b rotate in touch with the piping 101 with the uniform pressing force. Even when the pipping 101 is deformed, the rotation and axial movement of the probes can be carried out smoothly and correctly. |
