PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rotary developing unit from being carelessly turned by the unexpected change of voltage or a current to drive a stepping motor at the time of exchanging a developer container in an image forming device having the rotary developing unit. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, a rotation stopping mechanism capable of switching to a state, where the rotation stopping of a revolver developing unit is executed by engaging the plunger 201a of a solenoid 201 with a notched part 108a and the state where the rotation stopping, is released by setting the plunger 201a in a stand-by state from the notched part 108a by the changeover of the turning on and off of the solenoid 201 by providing the notched part 108a at the disk-like unit surface plate 108 of the revolver developing unit and the solenoid 201 at a front supporting plate 48 fixed at a main body front side plate is constituted. |
