PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the space factor on a printed wiring board. SOLUTION: A long sideways board insertion groove 11 into which the end of the printed wiring board 100 is inserted and long sideways concave connector fitting parts 16 into which the other contacts are inserted are provided to the housing 10. First contacts 20A and second contacts 20B are formed such that the arrangement of contact parts 22A, 22B for the assembly are displaced in the depth direction, and the arrangement of contact parts 27A, 27B for the other connector is displaced in the width direction. The housing 10 is loaded with a large number of the first contacts 20A... and the second contacts 20B..., such that they are alternately aligned in the longitudinal direction. The contact parts 22A, 22B... for the board of the longitudinally aligned contacts 20A, 20B... are arranged on the laterally opposed surface of the connector fitting parts 16, in a zigzag pattern at the comparatively small pitch. Then the contact parts 27A... for the other connectors are arranged on the other surface of the connector fitting parts 16, and the contact parts 27B... for the other connectors are arranged on the other longitudinally opposed surface, at the comparatively large pitch. |
