The invention relates to a metallic element used for constructions, applicable to making platforms, stairs or metallic scaffolds, in the civil engineering, industrial, naval constructions or in any field. According to the invention, the metallic element for constructions has an indented upper wall (a), draining holes (1), the central projections ( d) and the lateral projections (e and f) having the shape of a closed curve in the horizontal plane, said curve being obtained by connecting the circular arcs (p and q) of radius (r) and the arcs (s and t) of radius R and are interconnected by the saddle-like surfaces (j and k), the perforations are provided with indents (z), the draining holes (1) are of the same length as the perforations of the central projections (d) and of the lateral projections (f), there being provided elongated perforations (m and n) in the lateral walls.
