PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing paste for electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which chipping or cracking of an active material can be suppressed stably.SOLUTION: A powder Pow and a dispersion medium W are kneaded by using a continuous biaxial kneader 100 including a barrel 110 having a thick-kneading section including a powder inlet for feeding powder containing an active material and a dispersion medium inlet for additionally feeding a dispersion medium, paddles 140a-140c including a plurality of paddles P provided in the barrel 110 and kneading a material fed in the barrel 110, and screws 130a-130d provided in the barrel 110 and supplying the material fed in the barrel 110 to the paddles 140a-140c. Filling rate of powder in an initial paddle (in the drawing, the paddle of the initial paddle part: code PX) in the barrel 110 is controlled to 80% or less. |
