PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variation of a nozzle discharge droplet speed due to a wiring resistance difference or the like based on a difference in closed loop length of a drive circuit driving a driving element.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head comprises a plurality of driving elements, a liquid chamber for discharging droplets on the basis of movement of the driving element, and a diaphragm propagating pressure to the liquid chamber. In the liquid discharge head, the rigidity of the diaphragm is lowered by making the thickness of the diaphragm corresponding to the driving element having a long closed loop length and high wiring resistance thinner than that of the diaphragm corresponding to the driving element having a short closed loop length and low wiring resistance among the closed loop wiring in view of the driving signal source G of each of driving elements (PZT1 to PZTn) 121 in the liquid discharge head. Besides, variation of a nozzle discharge droplet speed is restrained by preventing lowering of the discharge droplet speed of the nozzle having a long closed loop length.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
