A pipe clip comprises a substantially annular metal pipe clip body. The pipe clip body having a first flange and a second flange opposing the first flange, and a tightening screw to tighten said flanges towards each other. The pipe clip includes a screw pre-assembly retainer to retain the screw relative to said first flange. The screw pre-assembly retainer comprises a base portion and at least one screw head embracing portion attached to said base portion. The base portion is connected to a lateral edge of the first flange. The head embracing portion embraces at least a portion of the screw head so as to restrain axial movement of the screw head away from the first flange.
