PURPOSE:To provide a portable exerciser to enable a patient having heart desease, diabetes or the like to do exercise for rehabilitation privately at an optional place. CONSTITUTION:This exerciser is provided with a pacemaker 1, an electrocardiograph 2, a pace-monitor 3, a data recorder 4, a computer 5, and a battery 6. The pacemaker 1 emits an audible sound, transmitting a running pace to a patient while the electrocardiograph 2 detects the pulse condition of the patient, outputting data thereof. The pace-monitor 3 detects the actual condition of exercise performed by the patient, outputting data thereof. The computer 5 keeps watch on the patient s condition on the basis of the data from respective instruments and the data and program which are already stored, deciding on the need of load adjustment or of the patient stopping his exercise. The data recorder 4 is used to keep the data on exercise on record in preparation for perusal later on. |
