<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility capable of making non-ventilatory operation without needing any malodor countermeasures compatible with active composting fermentation treatment. SOLUTION: In a building having such a structure that steam in each of the rooms can be removed by dew condensation, shallow fermenters A and B in which any forced aeration for fermentation is provided, and any ventilatory discharge of air in each of the rooms of the building to the outside is not performed. Each of a roof material 10 and a wall material 12 of the building is formed of a material good in solar energy absorptivity, good in thermal conductivity and liable to be allowed to flow condensed water, and the roof material 10 is placed in such a way that condensed water does not fall into the inside of each of the rooms and flows along the slope of the roof. Further, the height of the heaped material composted or to be composted in each of the shallow fermenter A and B is adjusted to <=50 cm, or preferably about 30 cm.</p> |
